1. Climb Machu Picchu - KO
I've always been fascinated by the Latin American tribes. The Aztec, Mayan, and Inca ruins are all places that I would love to visit one day. While the Aztecs were my favorite, the ruins are not necessarily a tourist attraction, as the city of Tenochtitlan crumbled and a city built over it. Climbing Machu Picchu would allow me to fully engross myself in the culture and take me back to the time that I've read so much about. Without traveling back in time, it'll be the closest I get to pre-Columbian America.
While the obvious reasons for climbing Machu Picchu are still important, it is beautiful and it is a spiritual journey, I would be conquering a fear that I've only just acquired recently. I have a fear of heights. This climb would have me staring down the lion's mouth. Even if I'm covered in my own urine and my black hair has turned white, I will have conquered my fear!
