So being able to do a handstand, anywhere, anytime, has sort of become a symbol of that change that I never thought I could make in myself - but I totally can. Plus how many handstanding 30-somethings do you know?

2. Handstand
I would have never thought this one was possible, but ever since I have re-focused on my yoga practice all sorts of things I never thought were possible became possible. Headstands and forearm stands and crow. Forgiving myself for all those things in the past I cant change.

2. Learn A Language - KO
I took Spanish in high school and French in college, not even close to fluent in either. English is my first language, however, a Literature professor told me it's my second. Asshole. Hey, I do remember some French!
I want to learn a language so I can fully amerce myself in another culture. You can't fully understand a group of people, unless you can converse with the natives. Also, it will keep my brain active. Yes, I work 40+ hours a week, but my memory is still degrading. Hopefully, learning a second language will improve my memory and maybe even allow me to live in another country! :)

1. Yoga Teacher Training
Yoga has been a huge part of my life for the better part of a decade. I have now completed two rounds of the Baptiste 40 Days Challenge, I've read numerous books on theory and anatomy, and I've attended seminars. I've done yoga on land, on water, on a mountain...
Despite all that, becoming a certified teacher has never really been on my rader. It was too expensive, too time consuming, I'm not a happy enough person, it's not a financially sustainable lifestyle choice. However, now that I've found an amazing, supportive community at BIG things have changed. Not only is their teacher training program scheduled so that I COULD feasibly accomplish it while still working, I feel like I'm ready NOW. So, step one is filling out the application...I'm hoping this fall is the time for me, but if not there is always next spring like I had originally intended, or the fall after that. All I know is that it's GOING to happen. BEFORE I'm 30.
And then when I visit you girls in your gorgeous adopted homes I can lead amazing little private yoga sessions on the beach, in the forest or in those Hollywood Hills. <3

1. Climb Machu Picchu - KO
I've always been fascinated by the Latin American tribes. The Aztec, Mayan, and Inca ruins are all places that I would love to visit one day. While the Aztecs were my favorite, the ruins are not necessarily a tourist attraction, as the city of Tenochtitlan crumbled and a city built over it. Climbing Machu Picchu would allow me to fully engross myself in the culture and take me back to the time that I've read so much about. Without traveling back in time, it'll be the closest I get to pre-Columbian America.
While the obvious reasons for climbing Machu Picchu are still important, it is beautiful and it is a spiritual journey, I would be conquering a fear that I've only just acquired recently. I have a fear of heights. This climb would have me staring down the lion's mouth. Even if I'm covered in my own urine and my black hair has turned white, I will have conquered my fear!
